So last time I wrote about the Capitol Lounge jukebox, I mentioned that I put on Springsteen's "Thunder Road" in an effort to understand its appeal as a bar song. I also mentioned how the first song played after my block of 18 songs was "Thunder Road."
So last weekend I wound up at Capitol Lounge, and I mentioned to Chris Anderson (dim7 webmaster, coder, general computer guy) that I wanted to put some songs on the jukebox. He laughed and said, "Why don't you put on 'Thunder Road?'" I told him no way.
The next song that came on the jukebox -- before I could stand up to put my money in -- was "Thunder Road."
We had a good laugh. A lot of people had a good singalong. I cringed and went home.
